Executive Officers

This directory lists the biographies and contact information of all previous and current executive board officers of Bioethikos.

  • Taylor Santoro is pursuing her Masters of Science in the Bioethics program and plans to graduate in August 2018. Her interests in bioethics stems from her career goal of becoming a physician and her particular interests in the field include the future of genetic technology advancements as well as pediatric clinical research. Beyond medicine and bioethics, she has a strong passion for painting and cooking!

    She is the current President of Bioethikos, and was Vice President Fall 2017.

  • Ryan Min hails from outside the Boston area and is currently pursuing his Master of Science degree in Bioethics. His academic interests lie in publication ethics and the intersection of medical and humanitarian ethics.

    He is one of the current Secretaries of Bioethikos.

  • Kristina Hosi is a current student in the program. Her current academic interests lie in reproductive ethics, specifically the intersection of medical and scientific reproductive technology advancements and their social implications for women. She hopes to expand the conversation of health, healthcare, and ethics into the present news and global dialogue. Outside of academia, she is a co-founder and copy-writer for FEME, a female-centric site about women, womanhood, and sex. She also enjoys cooking with friends and exploring to find the city's hidden gems.

    She was President of Bioethikos Fall 2017.

  • Katie Ward is currently seeking to complete her Master of Science in Bioethics degree in December 2018. She became interested in bioethics while working as a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering. She currently attends the program part-time, while working full-time at United Healthcare. Within bioethics, Katie likes to explore topics related to health disparities among women and children. When she's not studying or working, she is a marathon runner and loves watching Friends.

    She is the current Treasurer of Bioethikos.

  • Jorge L. Rivera-Agosto is a current student in the program and a recent law school graduate (Inter American, '16). He is interested in the intersection between health law and bioethics, as well as risk management and patient safety. He's a member of the Bioethical Issues Committee of the New York City Bar and the Health Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Currently, he volunteers at LegalHealth, a division of the New York Legal Assistance Group, providing free legal services to low-income New Yorkers in medical facilities and training healthcare professionals to understand the legal issues faced by their patients.

    He is one of the current Secretaries of Bioethikos.

  • Jade LaBelle is currently seeking to complete her Master of Science in Bioethics degree in August 2018. As a recent pre-medical biology graduate from Florida A&M University, one of the nation’s top historically black universities, she aims to continue through a medical education to pursue a career in surgery and promote health education throughout low-income communities, where many members constitute vulnerable populations. She plans to continue to reach beyond the United States and bring topics of human protections across borders, having previously attended medical missions in Guyana, South America. In addition to her scientific interests, she enjoys engaging in the arts through playing the flute, creating pottery, and more!

    She is the current Vice President of Bioethikos.
